I note some complaints further down the page about a demo version not being available, but the user video on the developers website was more than enough detail to help me decide to buy. I expect TD's ability to automatically move uncompleted tasks on to the following day might be a big ask, but that would be the icing on the cake for me. It's a lot like the web based TeuxDeux (TD), but that is twice the cost, paid year on year, with only marginal extra functionality.īelow this, WChiseler has posted a really good in depth review that covers all the functionality and wishlist bases, and all I can add is it would be nice to be able to change font and font colour just to jazz the screen up a bit, oh, and startup at login, that would be nice too. With that in mind, I've literally tried every piece of project and todo software on Macupdate over the past ten years and couldn't settle on any of them.ĭaymap suits the way I work, holds all the info I need for my working day and in its present form (v2.1.1) it has just cleared up my desktop, and my head in just half an hour. The GTD approach is far too prissy for me, too much wasted energy (and too much of a distraction from what I should be doing). I write for a living, I have umpteen mini projects on the go, and I'm also a visual person.
